Abstract

A frame-controlled mobile load carrier which is supported by wheels 10, bogies 9 or belts. The load carrier is provided with a frame joint 1 which allows rotation of a front frame part relative to a rear frame part 2 about the rotational axis of the frame joint. The wheels 10 of the load carrier are individually driven and arranged such that they assume varying positions relative to one another and relative to the frame parts. This positional variation of the bearing members is brought about by means of pendulum arms 19,22 which are rotatably secured in pairs to the front frame part and the rear frame part respectively. The wheels can be lifted in such a way relative to the frame parts that the bottom plane 4 of the frame parts is brought to rest upon the support surface. <IMAGE>
