The angle-adjusting mechanism has a rotary screwed spindle (44) to which torque is applied by a mechanism (32,34) and which engages in a nut (50) on which the component hinges at a first supporting point (62) in a plane parallel to the spindle axis (A-A). A member (18,20) forms a second supporting point (72) for the component and which is movable along a circular path centred on the spindle under control of a second member (74).
