Abstract
The invention is used for reinforcing heavy concrete, light concrete and other mineral-bound building elements, for example plaster.
<??>The technical object concerns the specific material used and a treatment which is intended simultaneously to improve the mechanical properties, silicate affinity properties and aging properties, whereby high quality of the reinforcement and economical fabrication thereof are achieved. The solution according to the invention provides for the use of highly polymeric materials with CO, CH or NH groups in the form of filaments, skeins or strips or as a filament structure, which are irradiated and stretched before introduction into mineral binders or binder/aggregate mixtures. The irradiation is carried out with wavelengths from 400 to 2800 nm. Subsequently, the material passes through a bath forming a polysilicate.
<??>A chemical bond with optimised bonding is formed between the reinforcement and the building material.
<??>Furthermore, the irradiation ensures high strength and aging resistance of the reinforcement.
