An apparatus for preheating fresh air supplied to living quarters or the like space. The apparatus includes a radiator (4, 5) mounted in connection with an opening (3) in the wall (1) of the space, and a transfer means (6) extending between the opening and the radiator for leading fresh air to at least one region of air heated by the radiator.
