Abstract

A device is used both for space heating and domestic-water heating. It possesses an intermediate reservoir which is connected to a heat pump and in which a further reservoir used to heat the domestic water is arranged. In the vicinity of its base, the intermediate reservoir is connected to a return-flow pipe which leads to the heat pump. In the upper region of the intermediate reservoir, two inlets arranged at a distance from one another are provided, the inlets being able to be supplied optionally via a two-way valve. These inlets are provided for the heated medium coming from the heat pump. Forward- and return-flow pipes for the space heating are connected to the intermediate reservoir between the return-flow pipe and a lower inlet of the intermediate reservoir. Above and below the lower inlet is provided in each case at least one heat sensor, of which the upper sensor controls the two-way valve and both influence the control of the heat pump. The return-flow pipe to the heat pump also leads, by a connection, into the region situated above the lower inlet of the intermediate reservoir. This connection is connected to the outlet arranged in the vicinity of the base of the intermediate reservoir. Both this connection and the outlet are connected to the return-flow pipe to the heat pump.
