Abstract

In order to rapidly place at disposal elongate parts stored in shelvings with cantilever arms, a pallet (21) is used which is comprised of a rear wall (211), front walls (212, 212') and of a bottom consisting of cantilever arms (213). In the seizing position of the parts, the pallet (21) is placed (21') in a shelving (11) arranged on a front wall of the magazine and, the cantilever arms (61, 62) are placed under said pallet and before said front wall so that those arms may lift the material (31) from the bottom of the pallett (213) to put it again in front of the magazine, the cantilever arms (61, 62) in their new lowerable position being aligned on a roller table (71) on which the material (31') is further transported. By providing a multi-stage device (46, 47) to lift the pallets and a transelevator (41) capable of storing the pallets, it is possible to save time to place the pallets (21) in their seizing position.
