Abstract

The fuel system incorporates a feed pump (6) and feed and return pipes between a tank (4) and an engine (1). Fuel filters (8,9) are also provided. A mixing vessel (16) is mounted in the feed pipe, the return pipe also being connected to it. This mixes the fuel at a higher temp. returning from the engine with that at a lower temp. emanating from the tank.
