Abstract

A movable carriage (16) is supported by e.g. a lifting table (14) on a truck provided with controls for adjustment of the carriage in a given work position alongside boxes in a shelf location. The boxes are withdrawn and inserted using a motor-driven endless chain on which are a hook component and support plates. The hook component comprises an arm which, at the chain loop ends, can be pivoted from or towards the chain.
