Abstract

The pin screws are fed stagewise in sequence past a device (4) for monitoring their thread parts, to check on their turned position. The screws are then caused to pass a turning unit (5) to a stop position. - Where a faulty turned position is detected in the monitor the affected screws are turned around an axis crossways to their longitudinal direction. The screws are then fed in the correctly turned position to the assembly point (40).
