Abstract
The method relates to a labour-saving uniform embedding of a heating element, which is bent in a U-shaped manner, into an outer pipe. The heating element (1, 6, 8) is at both its leg ends connected detachably to interlocking connectors (11) and the two legs are drawn up in guide pipes (3) of a device (3, 4, 7, 11). The device (3, 4, 7, 11) with the heating element (1, 6, 8) is then pushed from above into the outer pipe (5), the cavity of the filling pipe (4) is filled with insulating material (2) and the outer pipe (5) is subjected to vibrations so that the insulating material (2) slides downwards through a trickling bottom (7) and surrounds the lower part (8) of the heating element (1, 6, 8). This is clamped securely in the insulating material (2) by pressing together the lower end of the outer pipe (5). The parts (3, 4, 7) of the device are gradually lifted out of the outer pipe (5), the latter being filled, while being vibrated, with the insulating material (2). <IMAGE>
