Abstract

The subject-matter of the invention is an electrical snap switch having a pivoting arm, which is supported such that it can pivot on a bearing part, a contact arm, which is supported such that it can pivot on the pivoting arm, and a tension spring connecting the contact arm and the bearing part. The invention is characterised in that a duplicated angled element 34, which extends in the direction of the pivoting arm 3 and beyond said pivoting arm 3 is arranged on the bearing part 4 to hold the one end of the tension spring 6 as one piece, a stop 36 for the pivoting arm 3 being provided on the angled element 34, and a stop 37 for the contact arm 5 being provided on the bearing part 4. This results in a problem-free support of the switching mechanism, which is constructed as an installation unit, while simultaneously ensuring self-cleaning of the associated contacts. <IMAGE>
