Abstract

The invention relates to an electrical switching device for installation purposes, having a contact system which is novel for these purposes in comparison with the conventional method of construction. According to the invention, the contacts are closed in an oppositely moving manner. In this arrangement, the switch mechanism according to Fig. 3 consists of two contact springs (9), which are constructed in the form of leaves and such that they can move, and are prestressed in engagement with a switching piece (7) which can pivot, so that, during pivoting of the switching piece, the contact springs (9) alternately rest on the associated stationary mating contacts (11). For this purpose, the switching piece (7) is provided with notches (6) in which, on the one hand, the abovementioned moving contact springs (9) lie and in which, on the other hand, a drive part (4) acts in terms of effecting a drive, by means of an operating device, if a change in the switch position is intended. <IMAGE>
