Abstract

The invention relates to a resistance thermometer for fluid media having a measuring shunt and an accommodating tube serving as a mount. <??>In order to achieve the object of improving the heat transfer conditions and thus the time constant and to reduce the cost of production and assembly, it is proposed according to the invention that   a) the accommodating tube is open at its free end,   b) an insulating body, in which the measurement shunt, for its part, is embedded, is arranged in the accommodating tube,   c) the insulating body is provided with a detachable coating, and   d) the insulating body is soldered into the accommodating tube. In this arrangement, the insulating body preferably protrudes a short way from the accommodating tube. <IMAGE>
