Abstract
The device for disintegrating materials comprises two rotors (1, 2), which are coaxially arranged respectively on driving shafts (3, 4) with a gap extending therebetween, and rotate in opposite directions. The shafts (3, 4) have a common hollow (5), which communicates with a loading hole (6) and with an access (7) to the gap extending between the rotors. The gap enables the passage of the treated material from the hollow (5) to an outlet being connected with a collector (42) for a final product. According to the invention the device is provided with an arrangement (19) adapted for preliminary disintegrating the treated material and for conveying it violently to the gap extending between rotors (1, 2). Furthermore either of the rotors is provided with a grate (29) fixed thereon and with at least one ring (30) and a piston (28) which are mounted on the grate. The piston (28) is so arranged that it can be displaced axially in cells (33) of the grate (29). In a reference position of the piston (28), feeding chambers are formed in either of the rotors (1, 2) and the treated material is conveyed into said feeding chambers. From said chambers the accumulated material is ejected by the pistons (28), moving in opposite directions, to disintegrating zones which are defined in the gap extending between rotors (1, 2). On the outlet from the disintegrating zones the rings (30) are arranged in order to ensure the passage of the disintegrated material towards a periphery of the rotors. The device can be applied with the highest effectiveness in the mining and metallurgical engineering and in the glassworking industry.
