Abstract

At least two hollow bodies (1,2) are provided, concentric with the axis (A) and with inwardly-curved walls (100,200). The lower hollow body (1) engages in the upper hollow body (2) and is connected to this by radial ribs (4), thereby forming a gas flow channel (5). The upper opening (110) of the lower hollow body (1) is smaller than the screening body which is smaller than the upper opening (210) of the upper hollow body (2) and is mounted by way of supports (7) and wing screws (8) on the upper hollow body (2). The screening body (6) has a cap (9) at the top and its lower portion is formed as a flow body (12) with walls (13) curved in towards the axis (A) and with a rounded "point" (14). The circumferential drip projection (10) is set back from the imaginary continuation of the wall (13), so that the flow is not disturbed. The clear width between the screening body (6) and the upper hollow body (2) is larger than the upper opening (110) of the lower hollow body (1). <??>Optimum operation is ensured, with minimum lateral dimensions, in calm and unfavourable conditions. <IMAGE>
