Abstract

Cutting device on a loading truck, having a plurality of cutting knives (6) which engage into a conveying channel (3) of a conveying apparatus to which loading material is fed by a pick-up appliance (5) and conveyed further into a loading space (1) by the latter, and which are held firmly, but releasably, in mountings (7) in the operating position, groups of or the individual cutting knives (6) being respectively assigned an overload protection which comprises an elastic element (20). Arranged between the cutting knife (6) and elastic element (20) is a pivotably mounted intermediate piece (14) which is designed as a switching member and which, when actuated by the cutting knife (6), as a result of the force exerted on the latter by conveying elements (4) via a foreign body, pivots against a bolt member (19) loaded by an elastic element (20) and actuates a switching shaft (21) which stops the drive (26) of the conveying apparatus via a switching rod (25). By means of the handle (23), the arrangement can be brought into the operating position again and consequently the drive can be switched on again. <IMAGE>
