Abstract

The mechanism is for suspending a felling unit in a crane arm or similar, and comprises a rotor between the arm and the unit. The rotor is suspended in the arm for pivoting movement around two shafts at right-angles to each other. The rotor has a shaft for pivotable location of the felling unit, and a pressure-dependent drive together with a lock component preventing its movement. The lock component is pivotably arranged relative to the shaft (16) suspending the suspension mechanism (4) in the crane arm (1). The pressure-dependent component (26) causes the lock component to engage a stop mechanism (29) attached to the rotor (5) at a radial distance from the shaft.
