Abstract
The nail has a shaft and a head (B), the shaft having longitudinal edges separated by parts drawn in towards the nail centre, resulting in increasing the engaging surface of the nail with the wood in which it is inserted. The head has a crossways spread connecting to the shaft cross-section around which there is a constant overhang (A).
