Abstract

Feed-out arrangement for feeding out pulverulent or granular material from a space in the container 2 which is under high pressure to a space at considerably lower pressure 12. It is intended in particular for combustion installations with a fluidised bed for feeding out ash and spent bed material. The feed-out arrangement contains a feed-out pipe 10 which is made up of a number of pipe parts 10a, 10b-10x in such a way that the gas/powder flow is deflected, usually by 90 or 180 degrees, at the transition between the pipe parts. By selecting a suitable number of pipe parts 10a, 10b-10x, the desired pressure drop can be obtained. The arrangement does not have moving parts on the whole and offers low cost, high reliability and great operational safety. <IMAGE>
