Abstract

A number of pressure chambers (4, 5, 6) connected in a series, for example cyclones, are connected to a common powder outflow system. This is comprised of a pipe system (11) consisting of pipe parts welded together at angles, preferably 90 degrees or 180 degrees, for deflection of the flow through the system. The pipe system is dimensioned, in the first case, for continual outflow of powder from the first container (4) while the other containers (5, 6), whose powder flow is considerable less than the flow from the first, are connected to such points on the pipe system where the pressure is slightly less than the pressure in the corresponding container. The lower part of the pipe system is dimensioned in order to receive the extra flow from the other containers.<IMAGE>
