Abstract

The arrangement comprises a sepn. tank with an inlet, sepn. chamber with an outlet for the light fraction and a chamber with outlet for the heavy fraction. This is joined to the sepn. chamber at its bottom part. - Specifically the mixt. enters the chamber (2) through the inlet (1). The light fraction passes through the opening (3) into the light phase sepn. chamber from where it leaves via the outlet (9). The heavy fraction level control device (10) and leaves via the outlet (11). Sludge can be removed via the pipe (6). - Used for the sepn. of one or more components of different density from a liquid mixt. The components can be suspended or emulsified in liquid or foam form.
