Abstract

The device serves as a mobile demonstration model for illustrating energy saving measures and package solutions for both machines and processes. Accurate, functioning simulations of a range of installations can be demonstrated. A hot plate (1) is spaced from a cooling plate (5) by the insulation material (6). The hot plate is placed in a chamber insulating it from its surroundings. The cooling plate is connected in a closed loop with a heat exchanger (10) and a pump (11) with the cooling medium being a fluid such as oil. The interior of the structure (8) can communicate with atmosphere by means of an inlet air loop (13) with controllable fans in both loops. The flow of heat through the system is fully controllable and using the extremely high efficiency heat exchangers for the heat flow between the two media. Virtually all the energy employed can be recovered.
