Abstract
A non-metallic leaf spring (10) comprises a unitary elongate member (12) having a matrix of polymerised resin and a plurality of fibres distributed uniformly in the matrix so as to extend along the elongate member, means (14) at each end of the elongate member for connection to one structure to be supported by the spring and a mounting assembly (18) between the ends of the elongate member for connection to another structure to be supported by the spring. <IMAGE>
