Abstract

A cargo vessel has two pontoons 1 arranged on the sides of the vessel, with members for propelling and guiding the vessel. The pontoons 1 support a framework 3 which can be moved vertically in relation to the pontoons 1. The framework 3 supports a float element 8 which can be submerged to varying degrees in the water, as a result of displacement of the framework relative to the pontoons 1, in order to regulate the draught of the vessel. The framework 3 also supports a cargo carrier 9 which is vertically displaceable relative to the framework 3. <IMAGE>
