Abstract

The invention relates to a waterproof electrical installation apparatus having a supporting device for mounting apparatus insert, in a waterproof surface-mounted housing. It has the object of matching the apparatus insert and the housing lower part to one another such that both parts are held in the housing lower part by a clamping effect, without any special aids. In this case, the housing lower part is provided with mutually opposite guide grooves into which resilient elastic lugs on the supporting device are inserted in a clamping manner. The guide grooves are incorporated in so-called brackets which are constructed as mouldings and are used as a support for the supporting device. Since the brackets extend as far as the edge of the housing lower part and the supporting device rests on top there with the apparatus insert, there is a relatively large free space, which allows electrical conductor wires to be wired up without any problems, between the base of the housing lower part and the base of the apparatus insert.
