Abstract

The mechanism is for fitting a platform or auxiliary frame on a chassis frame structure in a lorry, and includes a two-part clamp (3,4). The lower clamp part (3) is fixed to the chassis frame, whilst the upper clamp part (4) is attached to the platform or auxiliary frame. Both clamp parts have attachment back pieces (6,11) and stirrups (8,12). The upper clamp part back plate (11) has a lower section (15) extending downwards past a separation line between the auxiliary frame (2) and the chassis frame (1). The lower clamp part stirrup (8) has a section overlapping the lower area of the upper clamp part.
