Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the manufacture of a rear body of a dump truck forming a floor plate unit and a side wall unit separately and providing a simple means to tie these units together. CONSTITUTION:A floor plate unit 3 consists of a floor plate 7 having an edge frame 8 and inclined part 8' formed integrally and a main beam 9 and an reinforcing beam 9' fixed to the under surface of said floor plate 7 while a side wall unit 4 consists of a side wall 10 being formed by a vertical wall 11, a lower edge bent part 12 at right angle to said wall 11 and a square sectioned frame 13 and an reinforcing beam 14 which reinforced said wall 10. The floor plate unit 3 and the side wall unit 4 constitutes a rear body by fixing the lower edge bent part 12 to the upper face of the end of the floor plate 7 and fixing the lower end of the rein forcing beam 14 to the inclined part 8' of the edge frame 8.
