Abstract

A trailer coupling comprises a housing (2) and a coupling pin (4) which is displaceable within a guide channel of the housing (2) between a retracted position and a coupling position. In the coupling position, a coupling portion (6) of the pin (4) passes through a trailer towing lug. In order to ensure uniform wear of the coupling portion (6) on all sides, it is arranged in a manner which allows rotation, being mounted rotatably together with a central part (20) in a circumferential part (18) which has locking and actuating stops (10, 14) for the coupling pin (4). <IMAGE>
