Abstract

A conveyor belt where the goods 6 are placed on a support surface 4 united to form transport means 7 that are part of the conveyor belt 2. The transport means are constituted by a number of units placed into guides 2 in the form of a tube, where each unit can be displaced in the guide by a driving means 8. The support area 4 is united with one of these units, or it is united with a special item placed between two units. Displacement of the units in the guide leads to displacement of the support area 4. The guide 2 is constituted by three parts, preferably parallel, and one end 3b' of the holder interacts with one part of the guide, while the second end 3a of the holder interacts with the second part of the guide. The third part of the guide constitutes a magazine for the units that function as transport means. The guide is oriented along a staircase and can function as hand- rail in the staircase, that a longitudinal slit 2c is arranged to face downwards, and that the support surface 4 has a protrusion at one end 3b formed by a holder 3, the second end 3a of which demonstrates a part 7a that interacts with the guide in the form of a tube. <IMAGE>
