A combination of (a) melamine, hexamethylenetetramine, or their nitrate salts, (b) a polyhydric alcohol, and (c) an inorganic phosphate is added to an epoxy, unsaturated polyester, or acrylic resin. The mixture can be reinforced with glass fibres, and fillers and may also contain a thixotrope.
