Abstract

The body (particularly for a road vehicle of the tilt type) has a side frame comprising two upstanding corner posts 2, 3 between which there extends a cant rail 4a and one or more upstanding intermediate posts 4-7 each of which is moveable along the side of the vehicle, being adapted to engage the bed 1 of the vehicle (in which position it can provide support for the cant rail) and being provided with means including a flexible link 42 whereby it can be slidably suspended from the cant rail for movement along the side to facilitate loading and/or unloading of the vehicle. <IMAGE>
