Abstract

The present invention relates to a coaxial aiming device, comprising firstly a day-sight with an objective part 13 guiding incident radiation in the visible wavelength interval to an ocular part 16, secondly a night-sight with a light amplifier and/or transformer part 5, and thirdly a laser distance instrument having transmitter and receiver parts 7 and 10, respectively, and being intended for measuring the distance to an object observed through the day- or the night-sight. The night-sight comprises a mirror objective 1, 2, 3, 4 which at the same time serves as a receiving objective for the laser distance instrument. The secondary mirror 3 of the mirror objective consists of a selective transmitting coating, which lets through the laser radiation but reflects other wavelengths of radiation. <IMAGE>
