Abstract

1478609 Guanidine derivative ARZNEIMITTELWERK DRESDEN VEB 30 March 1976 [1 April 1975] 12724/76 Heading C2C The novel compound of formula and acid addition salts thereof are prepared by reacting 2 - (2<SP>1</SP>,6<SP>1</SP> - dichlorophenylamino)ethylguanidine or a salt thereof with a compound of Formula II or a salt thereof wherein R 1 is imino, R 2 is C 1-3 alkylthio, C 1-3 alkoxy or optionally substituted pyrazolyl or R 1 and R 2 together with the carbon atom to which they are attached represent nitrile. Pharmaceutical compositions in conventional forms and having antihypertensive activity comprise an above novel compound and a solid or liquid diluent or carrier.
