Abstract

1495026 Parainfluenza virus vaccine for tracheobrochitis UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA TRUSTEES OF 30 Jan 1975 [6 Feb 1974] 4031/75 Heading A5B An aqueous vaccine against cannine tracheobrochitis is produced by serially passaging an SV 5 -like parainfluenza virus strain in a continuous - line mammalian kidney cell culture free from extraneous agents. The virus strain may be isolated in a continuousline mammalian kidney cell culture. The kidney cells may be cannine kidney cells. The virus may be released from the culture by freezing and thawing and separated out centrifuge to yield a vaccine supernatant.
