Abstract

1474541 Grinding LIDKOPINGS MEKANISKA VERKSTADS AB 17 June 1974 [11 July 1973] 26772/74 Heading B3D [Also in Division B8] Stub axles S to be fed twice through a grinding machine 5 in two respective orientations, are at first conveyed in two lanes a, b of a four lane step-by-step conveyer 1. After passing through the machine, they are fed on to lanes e, f, of a second four lane step-by-step conveyer 7. They are then transferred to lanes c, d, of the conveyer 1 by a retractable and rotatable carrier arm 8 which also turns the axles so that their orientation on the conveyer 1 is changed by 90 degrees. After a second run through the machine 5, they are fed to lanes g and h of the conveyer 7 which lead them to discharge from the arrangement.
