Claims (10)
1. Metod som utförs av en dator för att simulera tredimensionell visning av data påen tvädimensionell displayenhet, varvid datan visas pä ett flertal ytor hos entredimensionell figur som simuleras av en virtuell displayenhet, varvid metoden innefattar stegen att: (a) erhålla (S100) bredd och höjd för en tvädimensionell informationsbehällare in i vilken datan som skall visas skall föras in; (b) erhålla (S110) bredd och höjd för en virtuell tredimensionell displayenhet,baserat pä bredden och höjden hos informationsbehällaren, varvid den virtuella displayenheten är anordnad att visa ett antal ytor samtidigt; (c) bestämma (S120) ett antal ytor för den virtuella displayenheten, bredd och höjdför varje yta hos den tredimensionella figuren som skall simuleras av den virtuelladisplayenheten, och en vinkel mellan angränsande ytor hos den virtuella displayenheten, baserat pä bredden och höjden hos den virtuella displayenheten; (d) bestämma (S130) en rotationspunkt för den virtuella displayenheten, runt vilken den virtuella displayenheten skall rotera; (e) hämta (S140) data för en första sida av antalet sidor frän en databas associerad med datorn; (f) bestämma (S150) bredd och höjd för datan hos den första sidan, baserat päbredden och höjden hos den första ytan; (g) föra in (S160) datan hos den första sidan i den första ytan hos den virtuella displayenheten;(h) repetera steg (e) till (g) för varje yta av nämnda flertal ytor (i) visa (S170) den virtuella displayenheten och rotera (S180) den virtuella displayenheten runt dess rotationsaxel.
2. Metod enligt krav 1, varvid den virtuella displayenheten innefattar en huvudytaoch två sidoytor.
3. Metod enligt krav 1 till 2, varvid varje sida av antalet sidor och dessmotsvarande data för-laddas från databasen när en föregående sida visas på en yta hos den virtuella displayenheten.
4. Metod enligt något av kraven 1 till 3, vidare innefattande ett steg att bestämmaen orientering hos den virtuella displayenheten baserat på bredden och/ellerhöjden hos informationsbehållaren.
5. Metod enligt något av kraven 1 till 4 varvid alla vinklar mellan angränsande ytor är lika.
6. Metod enligt något av kraven 1 till 5 varvid steg (c) vidare är anpassat att maximera bredden och höjden hos varje yta.
7. Metod enligt något av kraven 1 till 6 varvid steg (f) vidare är anpassat att maximera bredden och höjden hos datan.
8. Metod enligt något av kraven 1 till 7, varvid den virtuella displayenheteninnefattar en huvudyta och två sidoytor och storleken hos den virtuelladisplayenheten beräknas enligt följande: W = bredd hos informationsbehållaren; w = bredd hos en huvudyta hos den virtuella displayenheten; m = marginal mellan informationsbehållaren och den virtuella displayenheten;a = avstånd från W till m, d.v.s. bredd hos en sidoyta i två dimensioner; v= vinkel mellan angränsande ytor hos den virtuella displayenheten; d = kortaste avstånd från huvudytan hos den virtuella displayenheten till en rotationspunkt hos den virtuella displayenheten; varvid W, w, h och m bestäms av en användare; a beräknas som a = (W-w)/2 - m; v beräknas som v = 180-arccos(a/w); d beräknas som d = (W/2) tan((180-arccos(a/w))/2); en mittposition hos en huvudyta längs x-axeln beräknas som W/2; en mittposition hos en första sidoyta längs x-axeln beräknas som (W+w+a)/2, och en mittposition hos den första ytan längs z-axeln beräknas som -(w2-a2)'/2)/2; en mittposition hos en andra sidoyta längs x-axeln beräknas som (W-w-a)/2, ochen mittposition hos den andra ytan längs z-axeln beräknas som -(w2-a2)'/2)/2.
9. Metod enligt krav 8, varvid en rotation för den första sidoytan vidare beräknas som rot(y)=arccos(a/w); ochen rotation för den andra sidoytan beräknas som rot(y)=-arccos(a/w).
10. Datorprogramprodukt innefattande ett icke-övergäende datorläsbart mediumsom lagrar datorinstruktioner för att simulera tredimensionell display av data pä entvädimensionell displayenhet, som utförs av en dator, varvid datan visas pä ettflertal ytor, datorn innefattar en behandlingsanordning och en minnesanordning,varvid behandlingsanordningen är konfigurerad att exekvera datorläsbarainstruktioner för att utföra en metod enligt något av kraven 1-9.
