The respective outer bushing sleeves 16 are supported by a respective first and second support housing 28, 34 with which support housing 28, 34 the suspension system 2 with the support device 11 is suspended in the side of the vehicle body 10. Respective support housings 28, 34 can be connected to the side of the vehicle body 10 by means of a suitable fixed connection, such as a screw, rivet or welding connection.
A first and second threaded reading bolt 36, 38 is arranged to extend coaxially through the respective first and second pivot shafts 12, 22 to axially fix the first and second rubber bushings 27, 29 and associated components in respective support housings 28, 34. By loosening respective locking bolt 36, 38, the respective rubber bushing 27, 29 and associated components can be easily replaced during service and maintenance of the suspension system 2 and the associated support device 11.
Det framgår att stödarrnen 18 enligt den första utföringsformen utbreder sig väsentligen axiellt i ett plan som sammanfaller med centrumaxeln 25.Fig. 5 shows a schematic perspective view of the suspension system 2 according to the first embodiment of the invention and at normal load from the vehicle 1. The support device 11 of the support device 11 is arranged to abut against the pendulum arm 8 at an outer end thereof and slide at this. In case a roller 40 is mounted at the outer end of the support 18, the roller 40 will abut and roll on the pendulum 8 when the pendulum 8 and the support 18 pivot about the respective center axis 15, 25. It can be seen that the support 18 according to the first embodiment extends substantially axially in a plane coinciding with the center axis 25.
Fig. 6 shows a schematic perspective view of the suspension system 2 at increased load from the vehicle 1. When an increased torque arises in the first pivot shaft 12, the torque is absorbed by the resilient and damping first rubber bushing 27. The pendulum grooves 8 then come depending on the size of the torque to pivot and be angularly displaced about the central axis 15 of the first pivot axis 12, which means that the pendulum arm 8 8 will act and cooperate with the support arm 18 of the support device 11. 18 will pivot about the center axis 25 of the second pivot shaft 22. When the support arm 18 pivots about the center axis 25 of the second pivot shaft 22, the torque from the pivot arms 18 is absorbed by the resilient and damping second rubber bushing 29. As a result of the support device 11 cooperating with the pendulum the arm 8 according to the above, the support device 11 will constitute a load-bearing f reinforcement in the suspension system 2, which means that the suspension system 2 according to the invention can absorb large loads and has a reduced sensitivity to overload. Thus, the support device 11 is arranged to cooperate with the pendulum arm 8 to relieve the first torsion element 14. The suspension system 2 according to the invention can be applied to a suspension system present in the tracked vehicle 1 where the support device 11 constitutes a load-bearing reinforcement in the existing suspension system.
What distinguishes the second embodiment from the first is that the support arm 118 comprises a first and a second substantially axial portion 142, 144, which extend in different directions. Thus, the support arm 118 will extend at an angle, which increases the flexibility for positioning the support device 111 relative to the pendulum arm 8 and the first pivot axis 12. This means that the attachment of the support device 111 to the vehicle 10 body 10 can be performed in a place where the support device 111 does not is in conflict with other components of the vehicle 1. It is also possible that the support arms 118 may have a curved shape, where the support arms 118 coincide with a plane with a normal, which is parallel to the center axis 25.
The stated components and features stated above can be combined within the scope of the invention between different specified embodiments.
