Abstract

The panels used to plug the opening through the wall have a minimum density of at least 180 kg/m3 and a thickness of 25-35 mm in order to meet strict new European fire standards. Fireproof panels (16,17) of mineral wool are inserted into an opening (12) in the walls (10,11) for electric cables or pipes, which also pass through one or more openings in the panel. The panel comprises form-pressed mineral wool with a minimum of density of at least 180 kg/m3 and a thickness of 25-35 mm. Preferably two of the panels are positioned parallel and spaced apart relative to each other so that they lie flush with the outside of the two wall surfaces. A flameproof coating may be applied to the panel surface.

Description

15 20 25 30 509 458 2 uppfyller de nya skärpta brandprovskraven enligt Europastandard, EI/60. Detta har uppnåtts genom att den brandtäta stenullsskivan är av formpressad stenull med en densitet på minst 180 kg/ms, företrädesvis minst 200 kg/m3, och en tjocklek på 25-35 mm, företrädesvis ca. 30 mm. 15 20 25 30 509 458 2 meets the new stricter fire test requirements according to European standard, EI / 60. This has been achieved in that the fire-tight stone wool board is made of molded stone wool with a density of at least 180 kg / ms, preferably at least 200 kg / m 3, and a thickness of 25-35 mm, preferably approx. 30 mm.

Preferably, two rock wool boards are arranged in the gypsum wall substantially parallel and located at a certain distance from each other so that they are arranged substantially flush with the outside of the gypsum boards in a double-walled gypsum wall.

Stenullsskivoma är lämpligen ytbehandlade med en brandskyddsbeläggning. The rock wool boards are suitably surface-treated with a fire protection coating.

Description of drawings The invention will be described in more detail below with reference to an exemplary embodiment shown in the accompanying drawings.

Fig. 1 is a vertical section through a plaster wall with penetrations and fire-resistant stone wool boards placed therein.

Figs. 2 and 3 show in perspective different steps of the assembly of the fireproof stone wool board according to the invention.

I genomföringen 12 är inpassad en formpressad stenullsskiva 16 och 17 i vardera gipsplatteparet 10 respektive 11.Description of exemplary embodiments Fig. 1 shows a gypsum wall consisting of two pairs of gypsum boards 10 and 11 located at a certain distance from each other and joined by means of joists. An opening or bushing 12 is made in the plaster wall for a number of schematically shown installations 13, 14 and 15, which may be electrical wires, cables, pipes and the like. A molded stone wool board 16 and 17 are fitted in the bushing 12 in each of the gypsum board pairs 10 and 11, respectively.

The installations 13, 14 and 15 extend through openings made in the stone wool boards 16 and 17.

The rock wool boards 16 and 17 are compression molded and have a density of at least 180 kg / ms, preferably at least 200 kg / ma, and are coated on both sides with a fire protection coating, for example approx. 1 mm FLAMASTIC ”KBS COATING, provided by KBS Brandskydd AB, Gothenburg. However, the invention is not limited to this fire protection coating, but any fire protection coating that meets the set requirements can of course be used. Pre-pressed stone wool boards with the specified density are provided, for example, by Laxå Bruk, Röfors.

11.The stone wool boards 16 and 17 each have a thickness of 25-35 mm, preferably approx. 30 mm, which is 5 mm thicker than the standard measurement for a plasterboard pair 10 resp. 11.

The rock wool boards are suitably placed substantially flush with the outside of the gypsum boards, as shown in Fig. 1, in order to achieve as neat and discreet an assembly as possible.

The pre-pressed stone wool boards 16 and 17 have such dimensional stability that they can be easily gagged or cut with precise contours without decomposition. This means that the installer can perform fast, stylish and clean assembly. They also have a very high strength which is superior to that of conventional line driven stone wool boards.

Figs. 2 and 3 show how the fireproof stone wool boards are assembled. Fig. 2 shows how an opening or bushing 12 is made in a wall 10 for an installation 13 of cables, pipes or the like. The dimension of the bushing 12 as well as the exact placement of cables and pipes are measured. Then a piece is cut out of a fireproof molded stone wool board 16 according to the invention which covers the entire bushing. Conveniently, this piece is made slightly larger than the bushing in order to obtain a tight fit. The measured contours of the cables and pipes 13 are drawn on the disc 16 and cut or sawn out by means of a long knife or jigsaw.

Tjockleken på skiktet av brandskyddsfarg bör lämpligen vara ca. 1,5-3 mm.Fig. 2 shows how the adapted board pieces 16 are checked against the continuous installation of cables and pipes 13. Then the edges of the bushing 12 and the board 16 are coated with fire-resistant sealing compound 18, e.g. FLAMASTICQÅ after which the board parts 16 are put in place around the cables and pipes 13. Since the adaptation is deliberately too large, a piece of wood and a hammer are suitably used to get the board 16 in place. The board should sit in the plane of the wall 10, the formed joint being filled with fire-resistant sealing compound, e.g. FLAMASTIC? 10 15 20 25 509 458 4 Any remaining openings between pipes, cables 13 and the board 16 are suitably driven with loose rock wool, e.g. spillage from the disc 16. As a final step, all joints are xxed with fire-protected sealant, e.g. FLAMASTIC® and the continuous installation of pipes and cables 13 are masked with masking tape 20 a piece, approx. 20-50 cm, off the disc 16 and painted with fire protection paint 19, Pig. 3. The thickness of the layer of fire protection paint should suitably be approx. 1.5-3 mm.

The invention is of course not limited to the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawings but can be varied within the scope of the claims.
