Abstract

A box is frozen before use by being placed upside down in a bath containing brine. Food is then placed inside it and it is stacked with others one on top of the other. The outer base of each box is perforated so that melted water from the ice can drain away. For storage of frozen food, the fluid in the box walls must haVe a freezing point lower than zero degrees Celsius, and the box double walls must be tightly closed.
