Abstract
A wind power plant with a machinery compartment 2 which is rotatably journalled at the top of a tower 1. The compartment 2 has a supporting structure consisting of two parallel box beams 10 with interconnecting cross beams 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 forming support for propeller-axle bearings 17, 18, a generator 20 and a turntable bearing 6. A portal frame 26 runs on rails 27 on the box beams 10. Said frame is intended for handling machine elements inside the compartment 2, and between the compartment 2 and the ground. An opening is present between the box beams 10, enabling transport of machine elements between same. In the compartment 2 and in the propeller hub 5, pulley blocks 31, 32 are provided, enabling hoisting and lowering propeller blades 4 by means of the frame 26 in the compartment 2. The line or chain 36 of the frame is carried through said pulley blocks 31, 32 and hooked onto a propeller blade 4, following which it may be loosened and lowered. <IMAGE>
