1361433 Relay operating circuits TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET L M ERICSSON 25 Oct 1971 [27 Oct 1970] 49529/71 Heading H3T [Also in Division H1] In the level shifting circuit shown in Fig. 4, for enabling a relay circuit R to be controlled by a lower voltage control circuit S, Q L is a lateral transistor and Q K and Q N are vertical transistors. In an alternative form in which transistor Q N is omitted the emitter of Q K is directly connected to the relay. The circuit may be formed in a single semi-conductor body which may subsequently be divided to allow separate mounting of different parts of the circuit. Usually the base of transistor Q K and collector of transistor Q L are constituted by parts of the same P type zone.
