Abstract

A composition comprises polypropylene and a hydrolysed copolymer of an olefin with a vinyl ester. Specified copolymers are those derived from ethylene, propylene, putene, pentene or 4-methyl butene with vinyl-acetate, -formate, -propionate, -butyrate, -benzoate or -trichloroacetate. The compositions may be spun and drawn to give filaments having good dyeability in respect of disperse or basic dyestuffs.
