Abstract

Joinable wire shelf base (10) for a shelf system of a warehouse, having a plurality of parallel reinforcing profiles (11), on which a grid structure formed by longitudinal bars (13) and transverse bars (14) is attached as a shelf covering. The wire shelf base comprises at least two reinforcing profiles (11) each has a recess (12) at one front end, the longitudinal bars (13) extend on one side beyond the reinforcing profiles (11) and form a first support region (15), the longitudinal bars (13) on the opposite side of the wire compartment base (10) extend beyond the reinforcing profiles (11) and form a second support region (16); and the longitudinal bars (13) are angled downwards behind the second support region (16) and forms a connection region (17) with a connection bar (18) oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal bars (13) for engagement in the recesses (12) of an adjacent wire shelf base (10). The disclosure also relates to a shelf system (1) comprising such wire shelf bases.
