Claims (7)

Claims
1. Kitchen appliance for interactíve illumination of a horizontal surface, comprising a sensor for sensing a user, e.g. the hand of the user, on the surface.
2. Kitchen appliance according to claim 1, wherein the user control the appliance by moving over the surface.
3. Kitchen appliance according to any of the claims above, wherein the appliance comprises a light source for illuminating the surface.
4. Kitchen appliance according to any of the claims above, wherein the appliance comprise several light sources for creating illuminated patterns and/or figures on the surface.
5. Kitchen appliance according to any of the claims above, wherein the appliance comprise several light sources with different colors for illuminating the surface in one or several different colors.
6. Kitchen appliance according to any of the claims above, wherein the appliance comprise a device for recognizing objects, especially food, on the surface.
7. Kitchen appliance according to claim 6, wherein the appliance comprises a database with recipes, a device for combining the recognized objects with the recipe data base to present possible recipe for the user.
