Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a cost efficient method of bleaching a pulp by means of ozone. The method comprises subjecting an oxygen delignified pulp to an ozone bleaching stage followed by a chlorine dioxide bleaching stage and a peroxide bleaching stage. The peroxide bleaching stage is performed directly after the chlorine dioxide stage without any intermediate wash.
