Abstract

The connector has an elongated box formation extending in the spacer profile length direction, the inside of which defines a female part. Interspaced protrusions in the box formation project from the latter in a direction transverse to the profile length direction, so that they are in contact with the inner and outer panes. These protrusions fix the formation into position and keep it spaced apart from the panes in the sideways direction, transverse to the profile length direction, as well as determining its height position relative to the profile. The female part is adapted to receive at least one male part.
