Abstract

The light sources (4) are directed in such a way that the light beams (5) intersect in a line (6) at a predestinated distance from the free end parts (23) of the forks (3). For determination of how deep the in-stick of the forks (3) are underneath a package of wood (10) the light beams (5) are read off on the package of wood (10).
