Abstract

Door for closing a glove compartment, or the like, in particular for motor vehicles, comprising a body on which a handle is pivotably mounted and inside which two bolts (4,5) slide, said bolts being located substantially opposite each other and normally kept in the splayed position by means of respective transmission bars (6,7) biased by spring means (9). The transmission bars (6,7) are coaxial and directly joined together so as to slide relative to each other; moreover they are provided with respective lugs (10,11) between which a tensile spring (9) is tensioned. Splaying means (14) with an inclined surface are associated with the handle (3) and inserted between additional lugs (15,16) formed on the said bars.
