Abstract
The method for underwear measurement in military and civil applications involves a measurement device submerged beneath the water surface for continuous receipt of measurement signals from at least one transmitter. The signals are compared locally with signals stored in the measurement device. The measurement device moves automatically to the water surface when there is predetermined coincidence between the measurement signals and the stored values and dependent upon other adjustable conditions. On the surface, the measurement device transmits by radio related information for comparison. The measurement device comprises a control unit (14) with a memory for storing signal values and a displacement converter (11) for placing the device in a floating or submerged state. It also includes a communication unit (26) for transmitting data to and from a central point.
