Способ получения сульфата магния, включающий разложение магнезита серной кислотой, отличающийся тем, что процесс разложения происходит при соотношении MgO : H2SO4 = 1 : 2,5 - 2,6 до достижения рН 6,5-7,5, а последующая обработка включает охлаждение очищенного раствора и кристаллизацию семиводного сульфата магния с последующей фильтрацией и сушкой маточных растворов до безводного продукта MgSO4.1.
